Referring Hospitals

Due to our regional location, we admit some patients to St. Joseph Mt. Sterling Hospital for basic disease and illness management. However, the majority of our patients requiring inpatient care are transferred to Kentucky Children’s Hospital in Lexington, or to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. These medical centers provide access to pediatric specialists and have facilities that are perfectly suited for children. Many parents may feel more comfortable in that environment. We will work with your family to provide the best possible care for your child.
